We are delighted to announce that Professor June Boyce-Tillman, is working on a "Thursday's Child - a celebration of faith" musical and dramatic composition: Her plan is to create a framework for a musical/dramatic piece based on bringing the representatives of the great faiths together. The plans at present are to make the piece with spaces in it where the faiths can create a musical and/or dramatic piece on the theme of reconciliation. There will be sections sung by all, most probably including the peace prayer: Lead us from death to life, from falsehood to truth
June envisages a singing procession with candles and adults and children co-operating together and filling a great space with the sounds of reconciliation and peace. The audience will be invited to join in the singing too and thus encircled by it. More about June Boyce-Tillman:
