- Following the inaugural event in East London an evaluation took place and those of you that attended and provided feedback I am deeply grateful.
- On the personal side I moved to Hove in Sussex on the 16th July and cannot believe I have been here 5 months already!
- Interestingly word of Thursday’s Child had indeed spread here to the coast within a number of constituencies
- The new PO Box address is now “Thursday’s Child”, PO Box 5257, Hove, BN52 9PL
- The event brochure and follow up newsletter are on the web site www.thursdays-child.co.uk
- Huge thanks to Sue Ganter and her team at Interfusion that became the editorial and production team for the newsletter
- The audited accounts for Thursday's Child have been completed and shall be available on the web site shortly
- I have been engaging with others in Sussex with a “Thursday’s Child comes to Brighton & Hove” theme – watch this space for more news on that
- It is still the wish to take Thursday's Child to every city and so on – one city at a time!
- With this in mind I have applied to several grant giving foundations and so on for funding including Connecting Communities Round 3.
- A short film was created during the Saturday, 7th July, and is downloadable from the web site – I am sincerely grateful to Andrew of Clarity Communications for all his voluntary support.
- The EDM eventually gained 29 MPs signatures in support – 15 Labour, 7 Conservative, 6 Liberal and 1 Plaid Cymru.
