| Greg Peachey - FREdome Visionary Trust, St ALBANS, Herts | 4th September 2007 |
| Thank you, Vivienne, for a brilliant event, so selflessly organised, with echoes still resounding. My workshop certainly bore great fruit. Members of different faiths reflected together on our points of uniqueness and listened to see if we could hear similar messages. They were uncannily similar: (1) “We are all children of God, like flowers in a garden. We are all of different colours and fragrances.” Ian Bond – Christian representative. (2) “God’s world is like a garden of different colours. Likewise we are all different, and also there are different cultures in the world.” Bala Balaraman – Hindu representative. ----- Sounds to me like God showed up! Keep going, Vivienne! Greg - Chair, FREdome Visionary Trust |

| What a wonderful event. We were representing the Pagan community under the PEBBLE banner. It was really good to speak with so many representatives from other faith groups, sharing our beliefs and our determination to seek an understanding, joining together for peace. Looking forward to future Thursday's Child events. :) Many thanks Vivienne BB Mike |

| Dear Vivienne, The Inter-Religious Fellowship for Animals (IRFA) is a newly-launched spiritually-based organisation aimed at advancing the need for the protection of our fellow creatures, our brothers and sisters in creation. Our mission is to be the voice of those whose voices go unheard. We serve one Creator and as such wish to honour our service to Him by seeking the welfare and well-being of His beloved creatures who are very often forgotten. We are a coalition of professionals from eight religions and welcome the involvement of those who profess a faith and share our concern for all animals. Our intention is to work together peacefully with like-minded people for a common goal. After all, religious diversity should not divide us but rather unite us. Thus, we would like to offer our support to you for the "Thursday's Child - a celebration of faith" event to be held in London. It is indeed good to see so many religions, faiths and traditions involved. It is our hope that the festival will bring about unity and open discussion, and that new bonds of faith may be forged between all concerned. With love and light, Colleen McDuling - Secretary to IRFA. Sevenoaks Kent. |

| I have been asked by our Justice & Peace Group (Ecumenical) to wish you well for the Inter-Faith Festival. No one from the Group can attend this year but we hope & pray that the event will help to bring people of different faiths - and none? - to a deeper understanding of each other & so nearer to peace in our community & in the world. |

| Karanodakasayi A. Vishnu Dasa, Willesden Green, London NW2 | 10th May 2007 |
| Dear Vivienne, Thursday,10th May 2007 I thank you for starting to organise an Inter Faith Festival something which I have been dreaming about for many years. This is definitely the way forward and as I write I see our Prime Minister, Tony Blair in the Times yesterday announcing his plans to set up an interfaith organisation after he steps down shortly. The wind of change is certainly moving in that direction and may it take us and everyone who follows it to the perfection of their lives. I would very much like to participate in your committee, if I may, and would offer three suggestions for the future: multi-faith walks to local places of worship, a book to bring together all the scriptures of the world and a building to accommodate multi-faith worship to the Supreme Lord. I wait to hear from you. Thank you. |

| Very glad to have found your site. Total tolerance among all faiths is my dream too. I have been an adherent of the 'perennial tradition' for years. Fear is the big obstacle I believe, closely allied to doubt. May your back prove sturdy for the tasks ahead, and your intention remain pure. Sincerely, Clement Jewitt |

| Dear Vivenne, I got the opportunity to meet with you at Excel Exhibition Centre in London possibly in October 2006. I have gone through your web page and came to know your mission and vision of bridging people divided on the ground of faith. I wish you all success and hope to meet you on any occasion. |

| Mark Clayton, London | 24th November 2006 |
| Dearest Vivenne, After meeting you at the Conservative Party conference in October, where we both spoke about how to improve our world, I must commend you for all that you have done thus far and especially for what you are about to achieve. Your vitality and vision is saint like. This is exactly what is needed in our troubled and divided world. We should all come together, understand and believe in our common denominators and then teach our future children oneness & unity through a new global educational curiculum. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help. May God guide, strengthen, fill you with peace, love and prepare you always. Wishing you God's blessings and thank you for all that you have done. See you 7/7/07, if not before. Warmest regards, Mark Clayton, Co-founder "1W .... where solutions are found to improve our world" |

| Vivenne, May I take this oportunity to congratulate you and your team for one of the most creative ideas I have come across in many years. In the current climate of misunderstanding, war and negative stereotyping of communities, I believe your efforts in trying to build bridges and help in the process of undertsanding is commendable. May God help you in your efforts to unite His 'children' and make this world a better place to live. And in this endeavour our prayers and support are with you. Best wishes, Hanif Abdulmuhit General Secretary, Islamic Society of Britain |

| I am very please to see a event like taking place, It would be excellent for education and I am sure this will clear the concept of religions to people in UK and internationally, indeed we would also learn to value each other faith more. | |

| Brilliant venture; long overdue. Taking religion back to the source of purity, peace and commonality. Something which became divided and divisive is being threaded together. Religion and difference was meant to make people better. ' O Mankind, we created you from a single soul, male and female, and made you into tribes and nations so that you may come to know one another. | |
| Ray Wheeler, Shirley, Croydon | 21st February 2006 |
| I wish you well in your initiative and would certainly try to come along next year. As a practising Christian I do not hold exclusivist views but believe we must learn from others journey with God: He is not confined just to one particular creed. To help my understanding of other faiths I have just embarked on an university course "Introducing Religions." It is not religion and faith in God that is wrong. It is when religion becomes linked with nationalism and 'tribalism' with one group thinking they are better than others. Jesus said: "Love the Lord your God (of all faiths) with all your heart and with all your soul. And love your neighbour as yourself." I cannot say more than that! | |
| Penny Witney, Hampshire | 20th February 2006 |
Thank-you for taking up this idea and running with it you can only be blessed and I am sure that all involved will be blessed too. I will be watching this space. |

| Ken Teal, Hayling Island | 13th February 2006 |
| Faith without purpose is self indulgence. Thursday's Child may well be a good place to start the long, arduous task of changing the arrogant immorality of humankind. Faith, it is claimed, may move mountains - but only metaphorically. It won’t stop hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, droughts, famines, plague, extinctions and habitat destruction - or the ultimate self-destruction of humankind, and a much of the world around us. Understanding the faith of others will not help one iota in preventing the coming Apocalypse. It is not conflict between faiths that is the threat - indeed, violent conflict may even be cleansing. It is humankind's destructive behaviour, founded on the flawed creeds adopted by much of mankind, including many religions, that is the real evil. Beliefs such as the of sanctity of human life, the gospel of human rights and the economics of consumerism are driving the World ever faster towards disaster. | |
| Judith Bruni, Watford | 30th January 2006 |
| Well done for this initiative! I belong to Watford Interfaith Association, and I am sure our group will be fully supportive of this event. How can we help? I love the cards, they are really beautiful. I wish you every success in this important mission. I just wondered why the faiths had to be limited to the nine major faiths you mentioned? some of the more minor faith groups do some fabulous work in the community. As in the above message, some feel left out: some groups can come under wider umbrellas, though. |

| Geraldine F, Bishops Stortford | 26th January 2006 |
| Understanding and respect are indeed key word, however I would like to add listening. My experience in listening to and learning from people of other faiths and cultures has widened my horizons, challenged my own Christian faith and deepened my spirituality. I wish you well with this amazing vision and success for your event. |

| Syd Bill, Burton upon Trent | 20th January 2006 |
| Thanks for the card & information. It is a marvellous idea and I hope it goes well. I firmly believe that we all have a lot to learn from each other. Pity it has to be down in London, but will try to get there. You will be including Quakers Society of Friend won't you? No, I am not a Quaker but we have members on our Inter Faith Network. Fraternally Syd |

| When we realise that mankind itself has constructed a dodgy roof on the solid structure of morality handed to us for safekeeping and nurture. When we realise that each "religion roof"is often a leaking cap on an honest edifice of guidance and direction: then we may stop to think that we all dwell under the same roof and God is really within each of us probably complaining that our part of his construction needs constant repair!!! | |
| Josephine Pickup, Hampshire, England | 7th January 2006 |
| Dear Vivienne, Congratulations on launching the Thursday’s Child website and every success to the venture! Tolerance between all faiths is indeed a hugely important goal, if the world is to find peace. I am reminded of something that Franklin Roosevelt said, (1882-1945) and which I have always liked - “The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today. Let us move forward with strong and active faith.” I am sure great things lie ahead. Jo |
